7thSense have been awarded a contract from Electrosonic (www.electrosonic.co.uk) to provide 11 video channels of SXGA+ video serving for the new Culloden Battlefield Visitor Centre near Inverness, Scotland.
This new National Trust facility has been created to cope with increased visitor numbers and enable the story of Culloden to be told in an innovative and exciting way through an immersive media experience to include multiple channels of high resolution video and audio.
The 6 rack Delta Media Server
system is configured to drive 2 independent displays, an 8 channel Immersion Theatre on 4 walls;
and a 3 channel horizontal Battle Table.
In addition to the full resolution, uncompressed video that Delta is streaming in realtime there are up to 8 channels of high quality balanced audio available to each system, all synchronously delivered by the multi-rack Delta
configuration.
