The 7thSense Delta Media Server was used as part of a live event
for a Ford Motor Company 2007 vehicle launch in Las Vegas,
displaying seamless imagery across 15 channels of blended,
overlapped DP projection to provide an impressively large and
colourful backdrop for speakers and vehicle demonstrations.
The order was from Creative Technology (www.ctinternational.com), and
working with CT and their customer Imagination (www.imagination.com),
7thSense customised their standard Delta media server to allow
multi channel image formatting onto a 32m wide "Taco Shell" shaped
screen.
This provided automatic distortion correction based on the actual
screen mesh and projector location, enabling 15 channels
of projection to be brought together as a seamless, geometrically
correct single image on such an unusually shaped screen.
